The Denver Post Ride The Rockies is an annual bicycle tour that takes 2,000 cyclists, assisted by more than 100 volunteers, on a 6 -7 day ride through Colorado’s Rocky Mountains each June.
Ride The Rockies’ route is different each year, but always climbs a few challenging mountain passes and showcases the state’s spectacular scenery. The 30th Anniversary Ride The Rockies will take place June 13-20th. The 2015 Route Premier Party will to held on Saturday, February  7th. For more information on tickets, please stay tuned the RTR website and Facebook page. Following this announcement, a lottery registration will begin online and remain open through March 1st. Applicants will be notified of their status on March 6th and all are encouraged to apply!
Proceeds from Ride The Rockies benefit The Denver Post Community Foundation; all funds raised are returned directly to Colorado nonprofits.

Pedal The Plains

Pedal The Plains is Colorado’s end-of-season cycling bash, capping off a world-class cycling event calendar on September 18-20th. With a route that will be announced in late April, followed by online registration, this event is ideal for riders of all speeds and ages. A true two-wheeled celebration of Colorado’s Eastern Plains, Pedal The Plains will include barbecues and on-route tours of working farms and historic sites along with nightly live music and entertainment. Proud to be a community-oriented event, proceeds from Pedal The Plains will benefit The Denver Post Community Foundation in support of Colorado FFA and Colorado 4-H.
